Zuzana Pokorná & Ondřej Sedláček

Swans, ducks, deer, jays, hares, foxes, beavers, and badgers. What animals will you encounter in Prague? What harms them the most? How many swans live in the city, and why are there so many waterfowl here? And did you know that if you find an injured animal, you shouldn’t feed it? Zuzana Pokorná from the Prague Wildlife Rescue Station accepted our invitation. The second guest is Ondřej Sedláček, who teaches and conducts research at the Department of Ecology at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, and also works for the non-profit organization Ochrana fauny ČR (Protection of Fauna of the Czech Republic). He is also the chief expert advisor for the exhibition Planeta Praha (Wild Prague) and the book and film of the same name.
