Flower Pot 2.0

We tell a story about Prague's nature, which can be found all around us: in parks, backyards, streets and train stations. But much of the city's nature lives with us in our buildings and apartments. It is a tamed one; it is leashed and housed in boxes and pots, the kind of nature which depends on humans and their care. But doesn’t this apply to humans, too? We would be hard-pressed to find a home without at least one houseplant. And just as trees in the streets cool the city down, houseplants affect the climate of our homes.

Houseplants are no newcomers to CAMP. In the 1970s, our predecessors moved many of them into the building to make the monumental spaces feel more cozy. The plants from Flowerpot 2.0 will be placed around CAMP after the exhibition ends and will help to create the atmosphere of the space that we know from photographs taken shortly after the completion of the Emmaus buildings. And the sofa will once again serve its original purpose (or, maybe, there will be something entirely different).
