The study addresses the renovation of a dilapidated building that formerly served as a public transit waiting area and a newsstand on Slámova Street. The construction project calls for a complete renovation of the building and its conversion into a Municipal Police station and restroom facilities for public transit drivers.

Architecturally, it is an interesting building from the 1960s. Unfortunately, architecture of this type is often associated with a certain “stigma of communism.” In the new design, the architect seeks to preserve the retro style while using modern materials. The goal is to keep the building’s exterior as unchanged as possible.
