Where do the vehicles that take care of Prague's roads rest? And how can a municipal services facility combine high demands on functionality with architectural quality and respect for the surrounding landscape? The new technical services base in Lysolaje is an example of a thoughtful approach to urban infrastructure that goes beyond the usual standards. In 2023, it won the National Architecture Award in the New Building category and was also a finalist for the Czech Architecture Award 2024. A guided tour with architect Jan Kalivoda from PROGRES architecti will explain the design of the building and its role in the municipal services system.The program will also include a walk around Lysolaje with the mayor, Dana Malečková, who will present the urban context and development of this Prague district.
