CAMP Tour: On a Bike along Former Railway Tracks

Trains used to run here, but today this space belongs to pedestrians and cyclists. The guided tour will show how former railway tracks acquired a new significance as a part of active urban mobility. Along the route, participants will learn about the transformation of brownfield sites – for example, the Rohan City project, the revitalisation of the old ČKD premises and the site of the former Vysočany Incinerator, as well as the use of Vítkov Tunnel. We will also go through places along Rokytka Stream and other parts of the city, where the history, present and future of cycling, rail and road transport are connected. Václav Novotný, head of the IPR Prague Transport Infrastructure Office, will give the guided tour.
