Schools, sports facilities, cultural buildings, and healthcare institutions all fall under the category of public amenities. If they are not sufficient and of high quality, the city cannot function properly. The plan therefore strives to ensure that residents have everything they need right where they live. The Metropolitan Plan protects existing facilities. How can it also support the construction of new ones? And how will this help Prague become a city of short distances in the future?
