How is the perception of post-war architecture changing, and how can its qualities be preserved for the 21st century? Come and see what awaits the former Association of Design Studios in Emauzy. The guided tour will focus on the history and structural design of the complex, which was completed in 1975 based on a design by Karel Prager and Jiří Kadeřábek. Between 2027–2030, the three pavilions will undergo careful renovation based on a design by the IXA studio, while their immediate surroundings and greenery will be redesigned by landscape architects Land05. You will learn more about the bold steel structure and the GAMA system components, whose contrast with the heavy bases defines the character of the entire complex.
