The Development of Autonomous Mobility in Prague

Is Prague and its infrastructure ready for the development of autonomous mobility? Advances in driving automation and artificial intelligence are beginning to transform the ways in which people and goods move around the city. In addition to autonomous cars, we are hearing more and more about the integration of these technologies into public transportation—from the metro and trams to new forms of shared mobility. What demands will autonomous traffic place on urban infrastructure? How will the roles of drivers, dispatch centers, and traffic management as a whole change? How will delivery robots or autonomous taxi services fit into this ecosystem? What are the experiences from abroad, and what can Prague learn from them? The event will offer a look at the opportunities and limitations of autonomous mobility in the context of Prague’s development.

Moderator: Jiří Jaroš
